Reels and shorts
Vertical videos of 15 to 30 seconds for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. You describe the idea in a few sentences, and Vishot splits it into shots, draws the character, brings them to life, voices them and edits the video.
AI-generatedRamen at MidnightA made-up late-night ramen stall in Tokyo and a verdict to camera.
AI-generatedHidden CoveA beach in a sea cave on the Portuguese coast, as the model imagined it.
AI-generatedThe $40 UpgradeA made-up unbranded manual coffee grinder and a hook to camera.
AI-generated5 A.M. ClubA sunrise run over a bridge.
AI-generatedFive More MinutesA guy bargains with his alarm clock and loses.
AI-generatedMain CharacterA walk through rainy neon Tokyo, no dialogue.
What works today. We made these six reels on our own PC with a separate script; LTX-2.5 did the motion and the lines to camera. Studio and the plugin don't have the vertical frame yet; it's in progress. Right now you can shoot 16:9 mini-films yourself on a Windows PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX, through the app that comes with the Unreal plugin (by invitation). Mac isn't supported yet.
How a reel is made
This is how Vishot will make a reel once the vertical frame is in Studio and the plugin. The six videos above went through the same steps with a separate script.
Idea
A few sentences: what the video is about, who is in frame and what hooks the viewer in the first two seconds.
Shots
Vishot splits the idea into a few short shots. You can place the character and the camera in Unreal or in Vishot Studio, but you don't have to.
Frames and motion
A model draws the first frame of each shot, a video model brings it to life. The character looks the same in every shot. Only use a photo of a real person with their consent.
Voice and subtitles
A model voices the line. Subtitles come as a separate .srt file for now; burned-in captions are planned.
Video
An MP4 at 1080×1920. When you post it, turn on the platform's AI label.
AI label
A Vishot reel is AI-generated. Instagram, YouTube and TikTok require you to label realistic AI video, and the model licenses require you to say it was made by a machine. Don't present a reel as real footage or as a real customer's review, and mark an ad with an AI host both as an ad and as AI.
Mini-film and reel side by side
The same models, two formats. A mini-film tells a story, a reel holds attention in the feed.
| What we compare | Mini-film | Reel or short |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | 16:9, 1920×1080 | 9:16, 1080×1920 |
| Length | 46–60 s in our eight | 15–30 s, 18–25 s in our six |
| What's in it | Several shots, characters, dialogue | One idea and a hook in the first seconds |
| Where people watch | A website, YouTube, a client screening | Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok |
| On your PC | No credits, on a card with 24 GB or more | The same, once the format is ready |
| In the cloud on Creator | About 4 a month | About 8 a month once the format is ready |
| Status | Ready Eight mini-films | In progress Six examples |
Cloud estimates use the Creator plan credits: 250 seconds of video a month at the price of the cheapest cloud video model, MiniMax H3 at 768p, a 55-second mini-film and a 30-second reel, with every shot right on the first take. Every retake uses seconds too, and other models give fewer: the same credit buys 153 seconds of Veo 3.1 Fast without sound. Cloud video works through MCP agents today; in the plugin and Studio it is still in progress. All plans
We'll email you when reels work
One email, when the vertical frame is in Studio and the plugin. Meanwhile you can create a free account and stage scenes in Vishot Studio in the browser.
