Vishot for film schools
The Vishot plugin for Unreal Engine is free for schools, as it is for everyone. It needs no license key, you can install it on every computer in your lab, and with a graphics card of 24 GB or more it runs locally, without the cloud. For teachers we are adding a free course, “Directing a scene”.
During early access we send the plugin by invitation: create a free account and request access under My account › Downloads. The install guide lists what each computer needs.
“Directing a scene”: 8 lessons
Each lesson will be a 20-minute video with a ready 90-minute lesson plan. The whole course builds on one teaching scene, so by the end of the term every student can finish an animatic.

Good to know
- Students' work belongs to the students. We never show it without written consent.
- Generated video or voice should be labeled “AI-generated”.
- With a graphics card of 24 GB or more in each computer, the course runs fully on your own computers. It needs no cloud and uses no models with territorial restrictions.
- We are adding the setting “Education mark on videos” to the plugin. It will label exported videos as made with Vishot for education, and it will be off by default.
